These beautiful yellow flowers are called Zamfir Coreopsis and where originally named for a famous flutist in Romania. They have strange looking fluted petals that distinguish it from any other form of Coreopsis. This plant is a perennial that has a very long blooming period from the mid-summer mid-fall. Their ability to tolerate many different soil conditions makes it a favorite in the garden. The
Zamfir Coreopsis can grow to about 18" in height and can tolerate full to partial sun. Hardy in zones 4 - 9.
